Well one thing we’re sure of it is that print is most definitely the thing for spring. Neon, floral and graphic designs took to the ss12 catwalks in a kaleidoscopic collision of colour (a little intimidating for navy blue and black lovers such as ourselves!) But we adored the dreamy  mash up of smashed cadillacs and punchy carnations from mary Katrantzou, it was totally unexpected and totally rocked!

Naturally there are a few rules to remember when mixing your prints:

Firstly, keep your hair and make up simple. A fresh face and fuss free hair are essential to pulling off a truly bold look.

Secondly, stick to classic jewellery to avoid bad-taste overkill and to add a sense of timelessness.

Personally we find a helathy dose of minimal, monochrome jewels to be the perfect partner to eye-popping pattern and print! Black & white accessories make event the loudest of outfits look quite chic and paired down, taking the fear out of this particular fashion!
