Hip hip – hooray! It’s another venue to open up in the darling London district of Dalston with two-floors of fun and a heavy sound system to match. Birthdays has already seen bands like Is Tropical, Bleached and O Children make appearances on nights such as Upset the Rhythm and All Tomorrow’s Parties – as well as played host to the local festival Land of Kings.

We reckon the highlight next month will be the arrival of the stunning Aussie girl rapper Iggy Azalea, making her London debut at this already notorious Stoke Newington Road haunt. Pretty impressive for just having launched in May…
