We like to think we’re pretty nifty putting together a convincing collage, that’s to say we did, until we came across the enchantingly beautiful work of Baltimore based artist Beth Hoeckel (I know, we thought it was digital art too!).

Her incredible mixed media work has had us spellbound ever since we laid our eyes on it. Each collage is made from a combination of found and recycled paper, each figure painstakingly cut out and glued down by Beth, meticulous work that frankly, we are not capable of!

We especially love the sparkling stars like huge crystals in the sky! Perfect for when real life isn’t as pretty as you want it to be.
